Laura Lane (Bozarth) is a tree-loving author/illustrator who shares her plant filled home with a little food-thief black cat in Wakefield, MA.

She loves nothing more than fitting fragments of ideas with pieces of worlds and watching them grow into complete stories.

Her illustrations and stories are fueled by nature to explore mental health struggles with characters who make friends with fireflies and swim with stars. (There’s always a star.) She supposes you could say they’re whimsical. But she wouldn’t.
